ABOUT ME

My name is Luke and I am a documentary photographer from Worcestershire. I have been practicing photography since an early age, progressing from disposable cameras to a combination of Digital and Analogue photography.

I started out by undertaking a night course in photography at my local college, and from there I signed up to a Level 3 extended diploma in photography. Upon completion of my Extended Diploma at college, I enrolled onto a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in photography at the University of Central Lancashire, where I am set to graduate this coming year.

My area of interest within photography is photo-documentary. I have a keen interest within this field as I believe I can draw attention to current world issues that are going on around us. I also document key events from the past such as the war as I believe there are key lessons to be learnt from the past, and it is interesting to witness how the world has changed around us through the combination of modern and archival imagery.

Moving forward I hope to combine the mediums of photography and poetry into the sustained series of work that explores these themes.
